Mommy had been seeing some other Mom's very successful in Potty Training their babies earlier. It's called E.C. where you basically see your child doing specific things before they are about to go to the bathroom. Mommy isn't that awesome. I don't get to sit there and stare at you all day to see if your left eye twitches whenever you are about to go pee, but there are some mom's who have figured this out.
I was motivated and inspired by this and bought you a potty. Before that I had just been putting you over the toilet. This typically ended up in there being baby poop on my shoe, on the toilet or on the rug.. and then I would have to chase you around the house as you crawled away from me diaper less. It was fun times.
So your new potty is Mr. Ducky. He is pretty cool. He plays music (when he has batteries) whenever you pee or poo in it. Yesterday, I noticed you were farting a lot so I decided to put you on Mr. Ducky. Well guess what It worked! You are going poo in the toilet and peeing in it at least once a day. Which is a HUGE success considering you are only 9 months old. You also like waving at everything I flush down the toilet. That was because at first you were afraid of the noise, so I tried to make it fun by waving.. well ya. Please don't flush your duckies or toys down the toilet and wave at them as they clog up our toilets okay?
Mommy is proud. How many parents can say their 9 month old poops in the potty?
BTW. I can't promise I'm not going to show this picture to your girlfriend one day.
